SCENARIA View

Superb Low Dose CT

Leading With Features That Have Clear Benefits

0.35s/rot Whole-body scanning

Top

SCENARIA View continues its evolution for doctors, operators and patients, driving you ahead with a superb low dose CT.

Hitachi’s Intelli IPV technology with Visual Modeling enables both, significant noise and dose reduction while preserving an excellent image texture, providing outstanding image quality and a relax patient experience.

Supreme examination speed is being achieved by SynergyDrive, a high-speed image reconstruction tool that impacts on a wide range of scan tasks, massively shortening scan time thanks to its sophisticated automatic features.
The industry leading 800 mm bore combined with its lateral side slide table reduces patient anxiety and allows easy patient positioning. In addition, the central gantry control with its 15’’ touch monitors.

Speed & Image Quality

HV Detector

New generation light-weight HV detector reduces power consumption and electrical noise, improving image quality.

  • Electrical noise reduced by up to 25% compared to our former system
  • Conventional power consumption reduced by up to 35%
  • HV detector weight has been reduced by up to 14%

CORE Plus

New image reconstruction method which incorporates Hitachi's unique cone beam reconstruction algorithm. The wide aperture and compact gantry provide an even more patient-friendly environment.

  • Reduces streak artifacts
  • Reduces motion artifacts
  • Reduces image noise

Sharp reduction in examination time

Step 1

AutoPose (scan range automatic setting) improves reproduce ability and shortens setting time. The scan range can be automatically set by using image

processing from scanograms taken. (The operator checks and adjusts the imaging range which was automatically calculated.) Automatic settings take

into account the preset margin areas.

step 2

Smooth scan is achieved by improving the processing speed an image reconstruction speed of up to 60 images per second has been realized by

making actual use of the new, high-speed reconstruction engine. As a result, successive scans can be carried out smoothly of image reconstruction.

Step 3

Operation time is shortened due to the automatic analysis and image transfer functions. With MPR and 3D now becoming routine requirements,

various analytical processes are required prior to image transfer. SCENARIA View can incorporate MPR and 3D reconstructions in stored protocols,

so automating a series of work procedures.

Step 4

Capable of using presets and storing settings of multiple patients at the same time.  Hitachi´s conventional system adjusts the scanning

range manually scanning range is automatically set Capable of using presets and storing settings of multiple patient at the same time.

As the precision and speed of CT increase, various work processes are required during imaging and analysis. Stress-free work is

achieved by two tab-switching functions: a "Study Tab" which allows smooth transition through patient worksheet, like turning pages,

and a "Navigation Tab" which allows free transition between imaging and image processing for the same patient.

Intelli IP – a new technique to reduce image noise generated by a low dose

IntelliEC – a technique to control image noise at an indentifiable level

A minimal dose is pursued with two techniques with different concepts.

Intelli IP Advanced

The new advanced mode was added to the Intelli IP, Intelli IP Advanced, that is an iterative processing in which the statistical processing precision has been improved as compared with the conventional Intelli IP. Specifically, Intelli IP Advanced is a processing that, after reducing the noise in the projection space based on a high-precision statistical model by an iterative processing, tunes image quality based on anatomical and statistical characteristic in the image space. It is able to greatly reduce the amount of image noise and streak artifacts.

IntelliEC Plus

This new feature modulates the tube current, taking into account of the noise reduction from Intelli IP Advanced. Target SD can be easily reached with lower tube current in comparison to AEC without Intelli IP. By applying both iterative processing and dose optimization, a more effective dose reduction can be expected.

Next-generation iterative dose reduction IPV*

Hitachi's next-generation iterative dose reduction function IPV** does not require a

dedicated processing room or any additional hardware. Even at a high noise-reduction rate the

image quality (texture) is maintained and images with outstanding clarity are provided,

even at low doses.

IPV applied example: low tube voltage CT + IPV: low tube voltage

Generally, low tube voltage CT is expected to provide dose reduction and contrast agent reduction effects, but noise increases due to insufficient dosage. By using IPV, noise-reduction is achieved. IPV

Cardiac Scanning

Cardiac scanning is faster and more comfortable. The exacting work of cardiac CT imaging is automated. Clear cardiac images are provided in a simple examination.

Lateral slide table allows more flexibility

The amount of lateral table movement has been increased to 20cm. This enables easier positioning of the region

of interest at the axis of tube rotation and so maximizes spatial resolution of the images.

Design

User-friendly

Achieved smooth operation and comfortable scanning

For patients who undergo regular scanning and to reduce anxiety in small children, a scanning space which is friendly to both the operator and patient has been realized.

Improved flexibility at the scan plane with a spacious aperture of 80 cm

Lateral slide table function with movement of 20 cm

Breath guide displays provide a clear view from the start to end of the scan

Touch Vision provides a comfortable scanning space for both patients and operators
